Ala Moana is one of our favorites for lots of reasons. The beach is directly across from Hawaii’s largest shopping mall with all kinds of great restaraunts. Its also very calm making it the best stand up paddle board destination on Oahu. Don't let the mall close by fool you, the beach at Ala Moana is beautiful and it is walking distance from most Waikiki hotels. It is very similar to Waikiki beach, but far less crowded.
